Simon Mignolet observed by Arsenal and Manchester United - Sunlight

Manchester United and Arsenal are both monitoring the Sunderland keeper, who has experienced 12 weeks of superb form. He'll receive the North-East Football Writersa Associationas Player of the Season this week-end, whipping Newcastle pair Hatem Ben Arfa and shotstopper Tim Krul in to third and second. Mignolet, 24, has appeared as one of the best small keepers in the Premier League and is battling to be Belgiumas No 1 with Chelseaas on-loan Atletico Madrid ace Thibaut Courtois. David Bruce closed Mignolet for A2million in June 2010 from Sint-Truiden when he penned a five-year deal. Strategy employer Arsene Wenger is understood to be in the market for an owner and Mignolet created a string of beautiful stops in the Gunnersa 1-0 get at the Stadium of Light this month.
