THE BIG APPLE (AP) — Outfielder Curtis Granderson became the main of the New York Yankees' injured stars to return to the lineup, rejoining this team 2½ months after breaking his right forearm around his first at-bat with spring training.
Granderson was activated in the disabled list and set to play left field and bat cleanup Tuesday night against Seattle. Not the easiest day for him an extra shot, either: Ace Felix Hernandez started with the Mariners.
