Fulham have been linked with a summer swoop for Peterborough striker Dwight Gayle, who has impressed in the Championship this season.
Gayle has hit 11 goals in 21 games for Posh so far this term and has been watched by several Premier League scouts in recent weeks. The 22-year-old was on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge for the first few months of the season, but returned to London Road after scoring eight goals for the League Two side. His form has been so good that he is now commanding a regular starting role for Posh and Fulham boss Martin Jol has been alerted to the youngster.Jol is on the look-out for emerging English talent and is reportedly considering a summer offer for the forward who is valued by Peterborough at around £2million, although that could rise if he continues to impress.
