WWE: The Rock Must Beat David Cena at WrestleMania XXIX

No significance of a double-take on the headline. AIt isn't a typo, it is not a mistake. AYes, I'm arguing that The Rock should destroy John Cena at WrestleMania XXIX. You may well be wondering why. AWell, I've my reasons. ASo when you blow a and go berserk over my suggesting that a part-time wrestler actually keep the name, give a chance to me. Lets get yourself a handful of things straight, Before I discuss why The Rock must keep. AFirst of all, Cena isn't turning heel. AThere is no sign he is, and at this point WWE has no reason to turn him. Without a practical top face to displace him,AturningACena justAdoesn't sound right. Members of the Internet Wrestling Community, myself involved, have now been clamoring for a heel-turn for years. Shock might need it, but the truth is that it's not more likely to occur. ACena does too much for WWE as an experience. AFrom Make-a-Wish to media looks, Cena is WWE's cash cow. If WWE were to show Cena, his fans, kiddies and mainly women, may likely leave him. AAnd after all the injury Cena's experience personality has done to the IWC, how likely could it be that "hardcore" lovers will back Cena after booing him for years? Let us also maybe not get trapped in if The Rock can however wrestle. AClearly he can. AHis strength remains a concern, but that's more to do with his exerciseAregimen than real ability. AIf he comes home on a Chris Jericho-like schedule, he can nevertheless be a power in WWE. ABut that only is not likely, often. So why should The Rock keep carefully the concept? AWell, there are certainly a few factors. AFirst and foremost are reviews. AThe Rock's reunite has increased WWE's scores dramatically. AWhile a number of you might not put much stock in reviews, consider this: the bigger the status, the more advertising revenue WWE provides. That makes WWE content, and allows more risks to be taken by them since the company is moreAfinanciallyAsecure. AIn wrestling, when businesses just take risks, the item often gets better. Yes, WWE could hoard the money or spend it on still another horrible movie, but more money could well cause greater things. The Rock must also gain to generate a volatility element. AEveryone and their dog needs Cena to recover and get the WWE Championship on April 7. AIf The Rock can somehow pull out a victory, it'd rightly be a shock. Although The Rock is planned for appointments after WrestleMania, no body really wants him to help keep the concept. AEspecially withACM Punk supposedly planning to take some time off as well. Cena could then be the only viable option to get the subject. ABut if The Rock were to maintain at WrestleMania, that can be the ideal possibility to turn Cena, however impossible that may be. But more importantly, it would deliver a message to fans. That message is always to expect the unexpected. AAnd how predictable the most truly effective matches at WrestleMania XXIX seem to be seeing, just a little unpredictability would create a lot of excitement. Will The Stone retain? AOnly time will tell. ABut if WWE were to really have the Rock keep, it would not be considered a mistake.
