Would probably Stripping the Title Wear the Best Interest associated with Dominick Cruz?

Dominick Johnson, current UFC Bantamweight Safe bet, has not seen that Octagon since October 1, 2011. At that night, he won his fourth-straight decision victory and made the main successful defense of this UFC strap (vs. Demetrious Johnson).

He was slated so that you can fight Urijah Faber to your third time. The two would coach The greatest Fighter and then undertake battle. Late in your show, Cruz tore their ACL. He has got setback after setback, and allows not made a return to fighting.

The first is straightforward: he hasn't fought in over a year. A year absence must be standard for dropping your title, or taking a fighter out from official rankings.

Cage rust can be described as real thing, and Cruz ought to be eased back into competition rather than thrown to whomever the champion can be. Do you really require a rusty Cruz to help you fight Renan Barao straightaway? It is a phenomenal matchup in writing. Shouldn't we wait until we know Cruz is back good?

Returning from this long associated with a layoff and a terrible knee injury might be a trying experience. He should not have to fight one of the many pound-for-pound elite in this first match back. That is definitely setting Cruz up designed for failure, and sets the fans up for disappointment.

Cruz's game is according to movement. He is about the most active fighters inside that Octagon. We do not know if that will remain the case. We are unsure how this injury will affect how he matches. That is reason enough to include him in against a top-10 opponent, but possibly not the champion, in his first neglect.

The pressure of assisting the championship is tough to deal with when a fighter is normally healthy. It is difficult to send back from a lengthy layoff. Still, the combination of the two puts an immense number of weight upon the back of Cruz. It is not fair to one of the many sport's great fighters.

The UFC is doing right by stripping him within the title, and saying if he or she wins his comeback fight he'll get a shot. No one would disagree with that notion. It would be understandable, and allow everyone to verify Cruz is on the right path.

The division has changed considerably in his absence. Contenders such as Michael McDonald have emerged, but the division still lacks the warmth that Cruz brings.

Stripping the weight of being a champion from Cruz is his best interest. The UFC will as just stated only have one champion in the division, and if Cruz returns completely, they have an easy fight to provide in Cruz's second neglect.

It's time for Barao to get named Undisputed UFC Bantamweight Success, and for the championship weight being removed from Cruz.
