West Bromwich Albion are weighing up a move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair – but they will face tough competition for his signature.
Everton are keen on the England wideman, so are Villa, but their interest depends on whether they stay in the Premier League.
Sinclair's unhappy spell in Manchester looks certain to end in the summer as City will look to cash in on the 23-year-old, who is now deemed surplus to requirements.
Albion would usually have been put off by Sinclair's high wage demands but they are in a position to offer him a healthy package with the new bumper television deal coming into force this year.
He has started just two matches for the Premier League champions since his switch from the Liberty Stadium at the start of last season.
