On January 7, CM Punk dropped his second official pipebomb, when he quipped that Bruno Sammartino as WWE success only done once a month at Madison Square Garden. Following that promo, his outrage was espoused by Billy Graham on the remark, saying Punk must be ashamed of herself. Bruno, fortunately, sees it differently. In a meeting with In The Ropes, Bruno taken care of immediately Punk and Graham, saying of CM Punk: I think his interviews for a villain...I think he is very, very great. That's why it astonished me that Billy Graham would say any such thing when he used to become a villain who would say things to deposit his opponents, also myself...I took no offence at CM Punk, I am aware he was doing it to be a villain, that is what he does. But I think he does when he gets on as a, what he says that microphone a good work, how he talks, how he says it. As a I think he does a tremendous job and as a wrestler, I've seen several times to him and I think he's pretty darn good. He's not as bad at all. Obviously, wrestling was still a sport for leaders when Samamrtino was in his excellent, and The Living Legend noted, "The only thing is I do believe if he was within my age, he'd be considered a tiny bit too small, we'd greater designed men back then." The Living Legend talks about WWE's two biggest stars. Punk has gotten encouragement from other icons like Bret Hart and Steve Austin, although 2nd City Saint has every reason to be flattered by Bruno's comments. The Italian Superman had likewise kind words for John Cena: He looks very nicely, looks like he computes very hard. He moves well in the band and I have just seen him maybe twice completely. I've not seen enough of him, but from what I have seen it is possible to tell he definitely is among the top people in the business but sometimes I'd want to see these people wrestle a 30-40 second match. i [sic] can get an improved idea of how good they are, [sic] when they've to include that type of time Bruno will definitely get his chance, as supporters can get Twice in a Lifetime to go around the 30-minute mark.
