Dortmund struggle to keep Utd target Lewandowski - ESPN.co.uk

Borussia Dortmund people work overtime to convince star striker Robert Lewandowski to snub famous brands Manchester United and Bayern Munich and remain at the club. Lewandowski is one of many hottest striking properties in Europe and has been on United's radar for a while. Win or lose in Europe, Borussia owner Roman Weidenfeller is confident Dortmund is the best place for Lewandowski to flourish. "Of course we joke around when we're in different locations in Europe," Weidenfeller is quoted as saying in sunlight. "We make jokes about his next destination but we are just joking. Seriously, we would prefer to keep him here. "Lewandowski isn't just technological, he has a feeling for objectives and is also very fast, so when there is a chance he feels it. Every team could be happy to have a new player like him. "The most useful position for Lewandowski is here now in Dortmund and we hope to help keep him.
